Pramāṇa (scriptural source)
Mahābhārata — Bhīṣma lies on the bed of arrows after Kurukṣetra; the Lord and the Pāṇḍavas approach him, and Bhīṣma offers prayers and speaks on dharma (Bhīṣma Parva; also the teachings narrated in Śānti Parva and Anuśāsana Parva).
Saṅkṣepa (short meaning)
On the battlefield’s edge, Bhīṣma rests upon a bed of arrows—his body pierced, yet his consciousness steady. The Supreme Lord stands near him, and Arjuna bows with reverence. In this solemn moment, power and victory fade into the background, and the heart turns toward the eternal: truth, duty, and surrender. This līlā shows that the Lord’s mercy can appear even in the most painful circumstances, and that a devoted soul can remain fearless when remembrance is strong.
