Pramāṇa (Śāstra reference)
In Cc. Madhya 4.35–44, Gopāla appears to Mādhavendra Purī in a dream and points out a thicket. On waking, Purī gathers the villagers (4.46–49). They clear a path through the growth (4.50) and find the Deity covered with earth and grass (4.51). They then clean the earth from Him (4.52). The illustration depicts this discovery, not the earlier dream encounter or later temple worship.
Saṅkṣepa (short meaning)
After Gopāla reveals His location in a dream, Mādhavendra Purī leads the Vraja villagers to the thicket at Govardhana. They clear a path and discover the Deity covered with earth and grass. At the sight of Gopāla, everyone is astonished and joyful. They then carefully clean Him and prepare for His worship.
